Go to mapquest or yahoo maps to get driving directions. It will also show you the number of miles. Then just divide that by your estimated miles per gallon. 6th grade math.
Go into masspike.com to check the tolls on the Massachusetts Turnpike. I live in Mass but am not sure about Conn or NY tolls.
If you're 18 and drive a TSX, then you really need to learn to be able to figure this stuff out on your own. Basic life skills.

You gotta be kidding me right? Its obviously worth it to take Fungwah buses....
15 dollars = 5 gallons of gas for the tsx = 250 miles one way
Boston is approx 200 miles away. So that means, on a two way, you're spending only one - two gallons each way, approx 3.5 total on a round trip. Thats assuming you stay 50 the entire trip....so the numbers are more or less the same.
However, driving up yourself, you'll have to consider the depreciation and wear and tear on the car. 400 miles round trip let alone mention the miles you'll be driving around in boston adds up. Remember, after your trip, you're call will be another 400 miles used...vs taking the bus, your car is 400 miles more new.
Last bonus factor is time management. Taking a long trip driving takes a lot out of a driver, the first day i drove up to college with some friends I was exhausted for the most part. On the other hand, taking fungwah, you'll get to sleep and do some other small tasks while someone else drives you there.
all in all, i wouldn't drive there, unless you're staying for more than a week, have a lot of places to visit up in boston, or pretty much need a means of transportation frequently when ur up there.

4.00 each way for the throgs neck, whitestone or triboro, 1.13 northbound only for new rochelle toll, no tolls in ct, ri or southern mass, if u take 95 all the way, if u take 91 to 84, it will be a couple dollars more, i live in queens and drive to providence all the time, $23.00 +/- a dollar or two round trip in gas
edit: ezpass prices btw

Why would you take all those toll roads? I used to make the trip a lot (home in Jersey, college in Boston) I took 287 to the Tappanzee Br., then 87, then 287 (stupid scheme), then 684N, then 84E, then MassPike. If I remember correctly, that's like $7 of tolls. 250 miles with traffic, so I'm assuming like 26mpg. 9.6 Gallons of gas at $2.55 for premium around NYC = $24.50.
That plus tolls and you're looking at around $31.50.
