I'm looking at a pre-owned TSX and was wondering if this is a good deal or not?

2004 ACURA TSX, white ext, blk int, auto, 19" Niche rims, lowered 1.5", Acura serviced, very well cared for $32,000.
Mileage is 35,000km or 20,710 miles.

The MSRP in Canada for this car is $34,800 plus $950 PDI.
And tax is 14.5%.

What do you guys think?

 

That seems a little high to me, especially since the mileage is pretty high for one year. There's a lot of room for bargaining on new 04s now that the 05s are coming out. I bought my 04 last month for 34000 after tax. (But that's in Edmonton, market might be a different in Van) If I were you I would try to get a new 04

Keep in mind the car has 19" rims and a lowered suspension which means money went into it. Then again, it may have been driven hard. I personally think the price isn't bad but if you could talk them down closer to $30K then its a good deal.

 

30K sounds like a more reasonable price. What kind of rims and rubber does it have? Are they throwing in the OEM wheels as well? What suspension kit is it? Either way you'd be getting a good car. If the 32000 is with tax, that might not be a bad price in Van, I haven't seen any used TSX available in Edmonton

If you knew the high mileage I had, you'd know that wasn't a problem.

Stop in Calgary on the way back and grab me a new TSX.
