How Many Miles Were On Your New TSX?
How Many Miles Were On Your New TSX?
Just a bit curious. How many miles were on your car when you first bought it new? How many miles is too many for you to not consider the car "new" on the lot?
I think over 10 is too much >_>
0 would be ideal ^_^

< 10 is unrealistic. They roll it off the line, onto a truck, off the truck, onto a ship, off the ship, onto a truck, to another truck, then eventually to your dealer, who will move it around their lot a bit as the bring it into the service bay to remove all the factory plastic protective sheets and do their shitty dealer detail job on the car before they sell it.
Anything less than 25 I would consider pristine. Less than 50 should be about normal.

282 miles. Was the only car on the lot that was the combo I wanted, and I was ready to buy. It came from northern Vermont, which is a 250+ mile drive. I didn't and still don't think it was a big deal.

They had to source my car from another dealership which, like in your case, was quite a distance away. My dealership ended up doing a trade with the other dealership and so they had to drive my car back.

you'd expect more mileage car, which is located at a busy street/ highway - located dealers. (with carwash aftera rainy day ETC...)
i had mine at 7 when i picked it up .

My guess is that the 5ATs get test driven more frequently, since most people are looking for those. Mine was a MT.

71 after I test drove it 3 times, and after dealer test drove it at delivery.
And yes, just some insider info:
If the dealer claims that the car you want is at an other dealer, they will try their very best to sell you that one, rather than ordering one. Why would you order one when there is a same one 200 miles away?
So if you say that you want the one 200 miles away, THEY WILL NOT FLATBED the car. Why? because it costs them decent amount of money to pay the driver of the flatbed, and it comes out of their wallet.
When I was shopping around for a car, they told me that there is a TSX I want 200 miles away. I told them that I only want it if they flatbed it. They said no, so I said no, and walked away.

Mine was at 6 miles even though when my registration papers arrived a month later, it said 11. I didn't mind at all... if it were the other way around, ya, I'd mind. Gary Force Acura had my brand spanking new 06 locked in their showroom (single glass room for outbound sold vehicle I guess)... I must say that's a nice touch... my car looked like a star with its own stage.
4 or 5, can't remember.
For those that have them driven from other dealerships. For the most part you don't have to worry about it being abused. The drivers are typically retired people like my dad for instance. He doesn't need the money but enjoys driving and doesn't like to sit around bored so he delivers and picks up cars for a dealership. He doesn't beat on them and keeps the rpms down where they should be for a new car.

2.1 (the dealer said Acura has them do a few tests before putting it on the lot, so I don't believe that buying one with 0 is possible). Then after a test drive and a fill-up, ended up leaving the lot with 8.3 miles.
137 miles the dealer I bought it from in Pa that had to get the car from a dealer in NJ. I wanted a milano red/ebony 6 speed w/ nav. (2006) so I did not mind. I put 700 miles on it driving it home to NC. it is now 6 months old with almost 16,000 miles.
For the people/staffs who drive and deliver cars to another (faraway) dealer, how and when do they get back to their own dealership? >_>
If the other dealership gives them a loaner car to drive back... then don't they have to drive all the way to return the car again? or is there some other practical method?

But I wanted 6MT and didn't want to wait any longer....
