No experience with the xenon HID's..have you guys replaced them at all yet?

 

When I traded my 04 2 weeks ago, it was still on the original lights and had no signs of fading. That car would have been 7 years old in February.

I know others have replaced theirs earlier, but mine were still perfectly fine.

yeah, 'em german made pretty damn good lights...(hid bulbs)

 

Nice, I was next to a new 3 series this morning, it was still dark out and his lights were so white compared to mine, looked bluish by comparison. But as long as they are good I am happy.

 

The original hid's last quite some time. I believe the same brand bulbs are used since 2000, and my dad's TL lights lasted 8 years before they started flickering and turning a purple tint.

Comapred to cheap priced aftermarket hid's which last max 2 years if one of the 2 dont burn out before the first year that is.
