How to edit thread?

I've posted a thread but I have posted in the wrong section

http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10193

And I find that I can't edit my thread anymore, any idea?

just go to your post and hit the edit button on the lower right hand side of your post...and there should be an option to delete the post near the top... since you're the first post, if you delete that post, you'll delete the thread.

At the bottom of your post you should see a Edit option right beside the quote option?

When you edit, the very top of the next page has a delete option.

I've moved that thread you requested to the Comments and Suggestions section.

I see the Edit button on new posts, but if I look at old posts that I made before the switch over to the new software, the Edit button isn't there.

It seems the Edit button disappears a little while after a new post - it is a bit frustrating.

Hey! I am new to this site and I wrote/replied to few posts but there is no edit button even within 15 min. Other sites such as: http://northamericanmotoring.com/ has that edit button but not here. Any ideas?

I believe you have to satisfy a few requirements before you get the edit button. I believe it's a day requirement and a post requirement.
after these prerequisites are met; then you'll have 15 minutes to edit.

or I could totally be wrong...
@Ron A , please help !

I have never seen edit button although I created my account about a week ago. Even replying to this post won't trigger edit button to become visible. What do you mean "day requirement"?

Having edit button would take care of spelling and if I forgot to add an important info to the post.

You have to be a member for 15 days before your account is upgraded. Since you registered on the 13th, you have 6 more days to go.

After that you will have 15 minutes from submission to edit a post or thread.
