i went to the dealership today the invoice fornon-navi automatic is a little over 36,000 cdn

Navi for Canadian models is a $2,500 option.

MSRP for '05 TSX has gone up by $800 Cdn. Automatic now costs $1,200 extra. 6 speed manual transmission is standard, but you gotta pay for auto!

Therefore, $800 + $1,200 + $2,500 (Nav) = $4,500.

Quite the contrary. Since the pricce for '05s are going up, the demand for 05's will fall. Thus 04's will not lose their value, like you said.
