Well today was the All-Cali meet, and I went to meet up with the caravan at the 818 location.

Everything went fine until we got on the freeway. There was 3 TL's and me that were in front of everyone and waiting. When the rest of the caravan came, we got back on the freeway.

We ended up getting ahead of everyone again and waited on the side of the freeway. When we saw the whole caravan coming, we took off again.

Somehow or another, I must of hit something as I went back on the freeway. I was in the back of the caravan and catching up to everyone, and then i hit a little bump and I heard an extremely loud noise. My brother said i had a flat so i begin to move over to the right and then my tires goes completely flat.

We began to swerve, but luckly I made sure no one was near us. I ended up making it all the way to the side of the freeway without endangering anyone else

The crappy part about the whole situation is that the TSX had a little donut spare, so i wasnt able to continue to Pismo

So A 30 minute ride usually turned into an hour and half drive home on a spare.

I got a new tire and everything already, but I am just pissed I missed all-cali

Just wanted to vent out my anger, and let the caravan know that I didnt flake out on purpose.

 

Sucks dude.

I remember the first TSX Cruise I went on around here, I was the ONLY one out of the 7 or 8 cars to blow my tire, on my 3 month old TSX. I was so pissed.

I was wondering why I saw your car in the socal pix, but not at the meet . Heard about your blow by someone at the meet... sorry to hear =(.

Haha, very true. I have the advans wrapped in some Toyos, but I might get some run flats, so I wont have to deal with that crap again

Ya, I met up with everyone and was with the caravan for a while. I wanted to see your car so bad man. You have an insane drop on it. How many TSX's were at Pismo? Haha, I know i missed out on some good food, but its alright. I made myself some food yesterday

It's nothing too special . I ripped my other front liner on the drive back lol.. might as well just take the whole thing out, already cut 75% of it off..
There were only 4 tsx's at the meet, 3 from norcal, 1 from socal
Next year! Hopefully I'll have some more goodies by then

 

ahh so now we have a name to who you were, I was wondering what happened to you a couple people said you blew a tire. I was the one with the white 2nd Gen. It really sucks that you couldnt make it with us, I would have stopped but I didnt want to lose the caravan sorry man

Ha. A month ago my tire take off the front wheel... #@%@#$^%$%^ %uck #$%#%itch#$%#$uck. It was on about 60 mph when i ride in a big turn.
What have i got: now i have 3 spare wheels, and lost about $1414 for a new 4 wheels, for paint of a side skirt, front bumper, lip and a part of fender. Cause i picked up a lot of rocks.
And i also need to spend approx. $300 for pistons and inner+ engine fenders.

 

So feel yourself lucky enough. ;-)

I wish I could have made it, so I could have helped So Cal rep the TSX's. But like you said, next year. I will definitely have more goodies next year

Ya, I ended up blowing a tire. I saw your car though, it is freaking sick. Im glad you didn't stop, because I didn't want to make anyone lose the caravan and have to head back home like I did, so no worries about not stopping. Next year will be different, Im getting some run flats

 

That sucks big time. I am sorry to hear that. Well, the positive side of the whole thing is that your alright.
