Hood Shocks
Does anyone have experience finding hood shocks for our cars?
I know Redline makes a kit, but does anyone have any experience piecing your own together?
The shocks can be had for cheap at a parts store, but the mounting hardware is the head scratcher.

I just know of Redline for our cars. I know Mod_away has them on his car and I bet he will be chiming in. I am thinking about getting them for my car one day but not until after I drop my car and do some other things.

I've done extensive looking.
and redline is the only one setup specifically for our car.
will other ones work?
probably.
but no other company has them listed for our car specifically.
I have a set of the elite ones, and they work perfect.
pricey though.

If anyone has experience with generic mounting hardware for these hood shocks, please chime in. Looking at Redline's install manual there is not much to them other than a ball stud, a low profile bolt, and the other mount/ball hardware... Shocks can be had for about $10/ea...
Not that I dont mind supporting Redline for the time and effort they put in... but I am just interested in persuing a DIY 'kit'.
