you're going to lose visibility with 10,000 Kelvin.

to answer your question, stock ballast is fine.

Ultimately, it's your decision to get whatever color bulbs you want.

But, I'd RECOMMEND you get 6000k or lower. Once you past 6000k, you lose visibility like justnspace said, and believe it or not, you are more likely to get pulled over by the cops(if they feel like being pricks at that particular moment). Just a thought....

Would you rather read in the dark with a blue light, or a white light? Think about that when you try to see the road with 10000k HIDs at night.

Dont be a bad boy , you can blind others with such bright 10k light and as mentioned previously youll loose visibility, especially in fog conditions. When its night and fog then i can see much better with my fog lights then with my hid 4300k which r brighter.

Should go with everyone's advice. I find 6K to be the medium between show & functionality. Anything more is for show and makes it harder for you to see at night. Anything less will be brighter, but won't look as "cool." As for me, I'm too lazy to mess with my HIDs & actually don't mind the pure white 43K that comes stock.

I personally like the 6k color and lights. I have noticed that the higher numbers become harder to see and more annoying to oncoming traffic (including police)

8000-1000K ??? Sounds more like a downgrade.

I would recommend getting 6K HIDs. I have them and I can actually tell a difference between them and the stock lights. But if you get 8 or 10K, definitely go for 8K
