Hid Lights???

How come the HID lights turn a little yellow after a minute or two.
I've read that this is normal, because the HID's warm up. I have also read that after 150-200 hours of use, the light will become whiter and brighter. GUYS NEED INFO!!!

Because thats what they are meant to do. You can buy different bulbs that are more blue in color but they wont give out as much light. BTW your lights probably dont look yellow to oncoming traffic.

Yellow? Mine are far from yellow. I love mine and if anything, they're more blue than yellow. Perhaps you're talking about the rainbowish color above the beam?

Compared to our other car, the light appears bright white. It's tough to go back, even.

Are you sure you are not turning on your high beams? The high beams are regular halogen lights which would look yellow.
