you do not have to remove the bumper. AT ALL. there is a screw under the fog light, unscrew it, stick your hand in front under, pop the light out... VOILA.
Once I figured this out, it was a 15 minute install.
A rock took out my drivers side fog this winter. i'm looking for a new one. The reflector is gone so you can see the light however it doesnt reflect onto the road nearly as well as the pass side.

^ To swap out the bulb itself, yes, that is all you have to do for the fogs. For a proper HID kit install into the fogs it is best to remove the bumper so you can properly place the ballasts and wiring, clean the areas etc.

It's also good because it's much easier to put the bulbs in without scratching them. I'll be ordering an HID kit soon because one of my bulbs has been out for a while now.

I've heard different things regarding this. I've heard some ppl have no issues with burning the films and then other's having theirs bubble or burn. Really doesn't seem to be a trend that can be tracked to see which type do what damage. Only thing I've figured is that those who have their films burn probably run their fogs all the time. I rarely run my fogs unless needed or I'm feeling like showing them off lol. My lenses get hot but not as hot when the regular bulbs were in there and it was on for the same amount of time and distance, I.E. coming home from work.

Pretty sure it's this one

The ultraslim ballast design is nice, can pretty much slip it in anywhere.. comes with the dbl sided tape too. Install is simple and self explanatory
and I'm dropped on BC RSD's, with much to go before its all the way down.. but at that point i probably can't move. There's about 3" of tread left in the rear.
wo00o the pictures worked

Where is the best place to get yellow rock blocker film to put over the lenses though?

to save some $$ just get a luminics set for $31.50....
HID's without projectors are not worth $$...and with time the ballasts brake abd the bulbs become more expenses
If it is just for "looks"...get a LED bulb...they look like HID...but not much output...just looks

I've gotten a couple sets of 3000K halogen bulbs. They broke after 6 months each. I want more light output this time, not for functionality but just looks, so I got HIDs
