Hi i just got a 2006 TSX

It's nice

I set up the hands-free-link system but it keeps transferring the sound to the phone. Why?

How do i reset the average MPG calculator?

Before tax, tag, title I got it for $21,500. Did i get ripped off?

$21,500 sounds about right for a CPO from a dealership. Did they give you an extended warranty to 100K also? I love my 06 and I will keep this car until the wheels fall off. I was a little disappointed with the 09 TSX Saturn Aura front end grill, no v-6 or turbo, and Honda Accord interior.

Did you check the list for compatible phones for the HFL? Not all Bluetooth is created equal. My wife’s RAZR phone works flawlessly for the last +2yrs with my 06.

You can also set your MID to reset to zero your trip A mileage and avg MPGs every time you fill up.

I second that price as well, pretty much what I paid for mine back in Feb. The good thing is one of the mods you can do is the hondata

Try hitting the HFL button and saying "transfer". Maybe it's used to you wanting to answer with your phone (for privacy reasons). The transfer voice command toggles between the phone and the car.

Hmm yes, I got the 100k warranty but I have no paperwork about it. Is this standard? This is my first vehicle purchase. How does this warranty work? They told me it's tagged to my VIN #. Is this true? I just noticed that there is moisture in my headlights, so how do i use the warranty properly?

I just found out that there's a problem with the Song Erricsson w810i with TSX's HFL. I guess i'll have to get a new phone. Perfect timing to get the new iPhone coming soon lol (hope it won't have the same issue)

Also, I want to get it fully detailed. I don't know how to wax etc, Are there shops around that will do the whole package? Exterior and interior

The leather looks a bit dirty, is there some sort of protection coating i can buy for the time being? If so what's the premier brand to get?

i think it's a bit high on mileage, but def a good choice. starting with 06 you have more stuff for the car.
go ahead and check out the manual thou, it helps a lot and you'll utilize it many times especially you're modifying and changing stuff around.
congrats.

Price sounds good to me and the mileage seems alright. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do my 06 6MT tsx, bought new 11/17/06. It has 54,000+problem free miles.

Is yours auto or manual? I just traded my 06 in a little over a week ago and it was identical to the one you bought if its an auto.

Try setting the HFL as Trusted in your phone. I had to do that with my Blackberry to get it to answer on the HFL properly.

to the o.p.

I have a w810, and have had no problems with the hfl. Now i don't know if i should feel lucky or if you problem lies with the phone settings instead of the hfl.

Have you tried to transfer a phone call, like others have suggested?

I've had problems in the past with my HFL and my iPhone, I have found that power cycling the bluetooth on the phone usually toggles this. Might also try re-pairing the phone to the HFL and seeing if it goes away.

Transferring works but that's too much trouble to use the HFL unless it's a long convo

Is there a setting on w810 to set to transfer to HFL automatically?
