HFL Question

All,

Really likin' the site ... first time poster...racked up about 1300 mi so far on my '07 MT and have loved every second of it. Question - I've searched the manual and this site trying to figure out how I can have a personal call on my phone without the HFL picking up. If I hit the hang-up button, it also disconnects the call on my phone. If I initiate a call using my phone directly, HFL kicks in. This is probably an easy fix, but I just haven't found it yet. I have a Sam M300.

thx all.

I think you just have to pick it up with the HFL and then hit the talk button again and tell it to "transfer" to use your phone.

if the phone is ringing through the HFL, you can still press the "talk" button on your phone to take the call. I do this regularly when i have colleagues/clients in my car (on my Blackberry 8700).

You have to set up your phone to default to itself instead of the HFL. For my phone, it'll ask for a second if I want to retrieve the call on the phone. Thus, maybe try answering with the phone.

But the easiest way would be to answer it with HFL, and then give it the "transfer" command as mentioned earlier
