Hey IL people I went to the new Continental Acura in Naperville and saw......
A Silver Metallic TSX-A-Spec! No joke! I thought you guys were bluffing when you said that there was an A-Spec now I saw it with my own eyes. I had to inspect the car twice just to make sure I wasn't seeing things! It had a spoiler, body kit, chrome rims, and said A-spec badge to the bottom right of the trunk, no lie! I went by to Continental because my friends car was being serviced and it's a nice place. They also had a arctic blue RSX-Aspec there too. I was shocked to see it.

i bet you anything the TSX will have the Tl aspec rims, lip spoiler, badge...etc.
must be 5k plus to the sticker price

A-spec
I think I once saw that at McGrath, in Morton Grove. Aren't the options on it mostly all acceseries for the look? I mean 5 spoke rims, with the sunroof visor and all the body skirts. Or is the performance actually improved? Hope to hear from you guys soon.

the tl a spec is just cosmetic. they have a body kit, new wheels with yokohama avs es 100 tires, suspention with a 1in drop, new brake pads, and thre badges. nothing that will raise HP but the suspentiion and tire upgrade makes it a better handeling car.

can anyone get pictures? Man, i WOULD go, but last time I went to Naperville I was heckled for wearing a cubs jersey in white sox territorty, and guess what starts today?

Yeah I saw it too but and looked sweet but i'm still a little skeptical. I went there for the grand opening. It's really nice there. they have two tl a-specs, t rsx a-specs and an nsx sitting out in front.

EVERYBODY I HAVE THE PICTURES. Me being skeptical I don't think it's the real thing because there hasn't been any press release and the car only had different rims, body kit, and spoiler. It still has the same all season Michelins that come stock with our car. Anyways the pictures are on imagestation cause I don't know how to post. I think all you need is to be a member to view them. Seems to be just another way for the dealer to get money out of people.
Unless there is a performance upgrade, it doesn't interest me. I am sure the better tires make it handle better, but not enough for 5K....IMHO

It seems the dealer is trying to do what everybody here is saying. The price after all of the "modifications" comes out to 32 thousand dollars and some change. I didn't really notice much of a drop and I knew it couldn't be much if the stuck tires are still on there. It only has the OEM body kit and 17" version of the TL A-spec rims. Nothing more. On top of that the car is an automatic so whoever ends up buying it is really gonna get screwed.

so are you saying that continental acura was advertising a product that seems to exist, but really isn't the real A-spec that we've been waiting for?
