Yeah, that seems to be the tenor of this forum.

And IMFO that's how it should be.

What is up with the mods?

You verbally attacked another member of this forum...that is uncall for. If you have a problem with how things are run in this forum...you can either IM a mod and bring up your issue or leave the site. Its your choice buddy.

Let me translate this for you...

We don't hate BMW's... = We are BMW wabba-be's...

we just hate the people that drive them = we are are just jealous because we didn't get what we wanted and had to settle for a cheaper alternative.

You mean like how someone could want an MD but instead have to settle for a crappy gym teacher degree?

When you play Division 1 baseball for a top 25 team and get your Degree, Masters and PhD within 6.5 years, then you can pop off. Until then, best of luck on your comminuty college finals... Maybe one of your test questions will be to define Biomechanics .

when you say "play"

does that mean mid-level secretary for a top 25 div. 1 team?

We've had this argument like 3x already and we've decided any career field where you can go from college freshman to PhD in 6.5 has to be shit.

Disagree.
Actually, in a lesser way, to me this is slightly like some of the stereotyping that rightly incurred some people's wrath on other threads.

Disagree? On what basis? I'm almost done with my first year of what looks to be an INSANELY INTENSE Doctorate program... and I can assure you that my assertion is right on target. Stereotyping? Yea... a PhD is Biomechanics is no Medical Degree... sorry to make that blatant distinction. I don't have a problem with low-tier schools giving out "self-esteem" PhD's out like 4th grade spelling bee certificates... but at least call it like it is.

Now I suppose that you're going to tell me that Buff-Daddy is splitting atoms in his spare time. Whatever.

You are right, it is shit, put me and my wife in the 35% tax bracket before I was 29... I'm 31 now.

(1) I've known people who got PhD's in less than that amount of time, and it wasn't s***.
(2) .....and even if I didn't, I wouldn't feel anybody can be so sure to state that it would have to be s***.

BTW who said anything about "medical degree"? Buff didn't.

Wow, and yet you can afford a brand new $27,000 TSX? Can you say "Daddy's Money?"

It isn't all about the degree buddy, it's what you do with it. I have a friend who never went to college and started a land-scaping business instead and he pays himself $200,000 a year and puts the rest back into his business. Opened 2 additional locations last year and is going to retire before all of us.
I'm not saying I have the worlds best degrees, but I am doing exactly what I want to do and am living quite comfortably. You will be in school for 6 more years, then have to pay your dues as a resident, then have $500,000 in loans to pay off. That is unless daddy picks up that check along with your car payment?

Darn right -- and that's why I'm gonna try pretty hard to be outta here.

Unless B-D can come up with some baseball footage.

Nope, just freshman year. Baseball is a spring sport, so although the school year started in fall of 91, the baseball season doesn't officially start until the spring of 92. Redshirt 92, redshirt freshman 93, sophmore 94, jr 95, 5th yr senior in spring of 96.
Haven't swung a bat since, it's all about golf now...

Yeah, but did you click that link??

It amuses me how much time we all spend insulting and arguing with each other... people we don't know, have never seen, and will never meet.
