How's everyone doing. I am looking at getting an Acura TSX, but I need to know how many inches I have from side to side in the trunk. I am talking about against the wall that holds the taillights. The reason I ask, is becuase I am looking to see if it will hold a car amp that I am looking at getting which is 40 inches long. Please help, also, are there any known issues with the TSX that I should know about.

 

I'm at work, so can't say 100%, but I'm pretty sure there's 40inches on the inside. I was almost able to put 2 stock rim+tires along the back, and those are 25.5inches each (if I'm not mistaken). I'll check it exactly when I go for lunch in a bit.

Maybe moda_way can look up the dimensions for the trunk tray and then you'll know exactly how much room there is.

At the widest part, you got approx 51inches wide, with 10 inch depth, after that it shrinks to about 38inches (didnt measure, just guessing. But you definitely got a full 51x10 inch rectangular space.
