Help with pricing!!!!

Hello, I am new to the TSX section and I'd like some help. I have a TL and I'm looking a TSX for my gf. I found one a 04 with 72k mies without Nav. It is a one owner with a clean carfax and service records available. The asking price is $12881 and I got it down to $11500 without showing my face at the dealer yet? Is this a good price? I am not sure how much the TSX's go for. Thanks in advance

that is a good price for the TSX. I'd go for it. the asking price was right on par with what i'd expect a clean 04 tsx at that mileage to have. $11.5 is a good deal

Pricing varies allot by region with the TSX, so my advice would be to only pay attention to comments from perhaps just Texas. And to be blunt..... some 04's have had a long list of issues; much more so than any other year. I'd spend a couple of bucks more and look for an 05 (oh, and that price would be too high for an 04 here in Mass.).

depends on your budget, but I would hold out for an 05 or an 06, shouldn't be that much more.

You may want to browse the problems & fixes section. I would go 05 or newer due to a few more problems that plague the 04s (they aren't cheap fixes).

kbb.com, edmunds.com, NADA, etc.

If the dealer is so willing to lower the price, I would carefully inspect this car. Generally you will get a better deal buying private party, and you will be able to ask the owner how the car was maintained. Most dealerships cannot provide things like service records for their used vehicles.
