Help! 2008 auto TSX

I got stuck in the snow the other day. In order to get out I was going back & forth to reverse & drive. Now I got a 5 second delay with first gear n reverse when I step on the gas. The car WAS banging gears hard but that problem went away. So pretty much I think I messed up the transmission. IM so pissed at myself. Does anyone know how much $$ I'm looking at to get it fixed? Has anyone had similar problems fixed? Will it get worse the longer I wait?

Yes it will get worse if you don't get it fixed. You're looking at maybe $800 to fix it or $1700 to replace the transmission.

No one here (or anywhere else) can diagnose your problem by staring at a computer screen. Take your car to a reputable transmission shop or a Honda or Acura dealer. The transmission is electronically controlled, so it may be (may be) something less critical than you might think.

The most important thing to check is the trans fluid. If its smells burnt (even if red), your fried the internal components of the transmission.

I had this issue in my old grand prix, it started delaying shifting and next thing you know it just lost access to all gears. The trans fluid was just changed, but i smelled the fluid and it smelled like frayed wires.

Hoe many miles are on the car, and when was the last time you changed the fluid.
