I want to make a little modification to my rear bumper when it gets warm out, but it would be so much easier if i could take the bumper off. Has anyone ever taken it off before? I've taken the front bumper off a bunch of times, but never had a reason to take of the rear so I've never even looked at it.....

 

yes i've taken out the rear bumper before. its actually pretty simple. First pop open your trunk and you'll see and the edge of the bumper, there will be 2 little circles. There is a cover you need to remove first before you can see the bolt. After that there is a screw or bolt on each side of the bumpers edge where it meets with the 1/4 panel. Then on the under side of the bumper, there should be 3-4 clips. Once you get all of those off the bumper will come off with a lil bit of force. It will be easier if you have 2 people, one for each end and just pull straight off. Hope my instructions are good enough for you !
