Has anyone heard that the invoice price "changed"?
I'm negotiating with a dealer based on the invoice price. He told me the invoice price for 2007 6MT with navi is $28,381 but according to Edmunds.com it is $28,282. When I told him I had heard it is $28,282, he said the invoice price changed. It sounds like to me but maybe it's possible?
I realize it's only $100 difference, and in the grand scheme of things, that's nothing on a $28000 car, but it's the principle...
Has anyone else heard invoice has changed?

Invoice on a navi model last year was $27,7. I haven't heard that it has changed at all. Remember its transmission independent, so don't let him say the MT or AT costs more either.
Ask for his stock list, it will have invoice price. If he won't produce it, another dealer will. You can see in black and white what all their cars cost. Some dealers are more willing to show it to a customer than others.

Hey guys, I'm the Internet Sales Manager at an Acura dealer. It is true that invoice price went up just slightly. About $142 on a base TSX, and $152 on the Navi.
Nothing huge, we're not all bad guys. I tell all my people because I like to negotiate on the facts, but if a salesman pads you more than that little increase in price, I'd run.
You'll see the prices on all the websites change in the next couple months, but since it happened in the middle of the model year, you may not see it at all. Either way, not a huge issue, unless you're a salesman.
Edit: The Edmunds Price is corrected to the new price, many others aren't.

Again, I'm not really complaining about the $100, I'm just complaining about being lied to if that's what's happening. I'd rather he quote me $200 over invoice than tell me he's quoting $100 over invoice and lie about the invoice price. It makes me wonder what else he's lying about....

He may just have assumed you were looking on one of the innacurate sites and told you about the extra money. There's really only a couple that have the new invoice on them. I've caught myself doing it a couple times on accident.
If he quoted you $28,381 vs. just saying the invoice went up, then he's trying to get a little extra. Invoice is correct on Edmunds. It's actually $28,281.72 if you want to get down to pennies.
