Hard Wire my V1 Radar
Would it be possible for someone to re-post their pictures of how they hard wired their radar up by the lights/sunglasses holder? I know I saw this in a previous thread somewhere, but I cant remember. Thanks

Mine v1 is hard wired with the concealed display, and all wiring is under the driver side dash. You just need to run the wire (phone cord) between the windshield and liner, then down the driver side pillar under the air bag cover. Then tap the power to the fuse box and the ground to the chassis.

If you only want to power it, you don't need to do all that extra wiring. You can power it off the rear view mirror power supply.
how to make your own hard wire kit
You just tap the power line for the rear view mirro and ground the other line. No fancy displays, but super simple. Going to do my Passport as soon as my car's back from the shop.

I tapped into the power source behind the power outlet next to the "Not-An-Ashtray", mounted the V-1 Remote Display and the kill switches for my V-1, police scanner, and laser jammer in place of the fuzzy red change holder, and then ran the wire under the glove compartment, up behind the "A" pillar cover, taped it forward of the head airbag and out at the top into the main unit which is located in the pocket of a Case Logic "visor organizer" (about $8, Target Stores) with a hole cut out of the leading edge for the laser detector. Piece of cake, really.
Watcha see is watcha....
