Grr...Deep Green Pearl /w Parchment

I went with my girlfriend to get her oil changed at South Bay Honda. We needed to kill about 45 minutes, so we went browsing at Los Gatos Acura. They happened to have an '08 TSX in Deep Green Pearl with parchment interior. I fell in love with it! (It helps that green is my favorite color). I stared at it and sat in it for a long time. Talked to a sales person about it as well. Unfortunately, I'm too upside down on my current TSX so I did not get it. I owe $16k, but the dealer will only give me $12k for it. Boo! I want it!

How often do you see DGP TSXes?

It's one of the rarest colors out there. I've never seen it in person. I think maybe only 2 or so people have it here, and they're not as active as everyone else.

I was going to pick that combo if I had not kept my old car (green accord with a tan interior)

it makes no sence trading in your car for color only...it'll drive the same as your tsx.

I've only seen one once in person out on the road. It's an interesting color, but incredibly rare. I do see some TLs once in a while in DGP, though.

Check the color thread, its there.

I have only ever seen 1 DGP TSX. It was on a dealer's lot, but it was owned, I suspect it was there for a service. My first car was a deep green volvo POS and I have a weak spot for the color as well.

I have never seen that color in person; not even at a dealer. It is beautiful from what pictures I have seen.

it is a great colour, very rare. i posted about this in another thread after i finally saw one in person (CT plates). since then, i've seen 2-3 others on the north shore (diff MA plates). the green looks almost like CGP until you get closer.

if it had come with ebony interior, i would have looked harder for one, but i'm not a fan of the parchment interior (though it looks better with DGP than ebony would)

speaking of changing cars for the colour - i was at the stealership the other week for an oil change, and saw the ABP in the showroom. gotta say - under those spotlights, it is such an eyecatcher.

It's not only about color...

I'd love to have factory bluetooth. I like the improved look of the gauges. The steering wheel feels a lot more like leather than mine (are the 04 steering wheels leather?). The seat feels more comfortable than mine (although a road trip would be a true way to test this, and I don't really have any complaints about the seats in my '04). I love that the improved head unit will display the track information from the DICE adapter I have for my iPod. I like the memory seats. The car rattles a bit less than mine (the first model ticks are mostly worked out). To be picky, the newer navi has a slightly better display resolution than my 04's navi, and it's a bit faster too. I could go on...

I'm almost at 90k (I believe I'm at 87,xxx). That's no reason to dump the car as they are very reliable. But, it's an excuse in my favor.

Don't worry, I'm not doing it (unless somebody wants to buy my car for $17k lol). I still love my TSX. A part of me wants to see how many miles I can get out of it...kinda like a "I've got 900,000 miles on mine and still going strong!" sort of thing lol.

This is their only green color for the TSX right? I saw one at the DC auto show, and the green color didn't look very dark. Looked spectacular though

Green on DGP is not like green on grass, the color varies in different light. When i 1st saw it i could have sworn it was gray until i looked closer. There is very little green in it.

Btw, mine is an '07 DGP w/ Navi. I need to post some pics of it soon.
