group buy how?

Who should I speak to about a groupbuy? I spoke to the ppl that made tsx fury taillight led and they are willing to do a groupbuy. Are they suppose to be a vendor first before they can post the group buy? or can I post for them just to get the ppl interested but not say the amount, just the % off if we reach "thismany" # of ppl.

I dont think you actually have to be an approved vendor unless they changed the rules recently. You can always just post a "feeler" thread and if you have enough interested parties, then start up a new thread on how to contact the vendor and etc... to get the group buy. At the top of the GB section, there's also rules and regs. So reading through those would probably tell you.

Yes, there are rules around the organization of a GB. PM your favorite moderator and they will explain what is necessary. To do an official AZ GB, you'll need that vendor to join the forum and become an official vendor.

To sell stuff to forum members, vendors have to become official vendors here.

The forums are free for you due to advertising and the vendors here.

If they don't want to become an official vendor, you'll have to arrange it off-site and somehow attract potential customers without actually advertising it

You don't have to be a vendor to gauge interest in an item. Once you know people are interested then you have to become a vendor in order to offer a group buy.
