Got a quote on TSX w/navi...Good deal?

I just got in touch with the Internet Sales Department of my local Acura dealer quoting me a "special President's Day weekend" price of $27601 for a 2005 TSX w/ Navi. Is this a good deal? I'm sure i can probably try to bring it down to 27400. A few days ago, they quoted me $28,401 through Internet Sales department. Thoughts? I could finally be behind a wheel of a TSX this weekend

Definitly jump on it, that's a good price; mine was $27800 with the pro-pack (trunk tray, wheel locks, mud guards).

Mine was $27,599. Be sure to check that destination fees are already included in that quote. Overall, sounds like a pretty good deal.

Don't know if this applies, but I got my '04 for 27,500 including a spoiler, trunk tray and wheels locks. I say for a '05, that's a pretty good deal

oh and DO NOT get VIN etching, NJTSX, (forgot his alias) paid 299 for it.. at vinshield.com, you can DIY for 20 bucks. vinguard also has it..

also DO NOT buy their extended warranty, you tell the mofo you can buy it from anyone and right now the lowest quote is Curry Acura at 1100 but there are some at like 800-900 around.. search for the extended warranty link.. Either they match it or dont waste your time..

That is a good price. Right there you are only 600 over invoice. Not bad at all.

I got mine (last night, this is my first post here!! woo!) for 27,500 (navigation w/ wheel locks only). I got him to do the spoiler for another 500 bucks. I felt pretty damned good about myself though, all things considered. I'd say your deal is good. Oh and the 3.29% financing is good for 60 months (offer ends 2/22) so I picked up one of those plans ;-)

I pick up tomorrow!!!! I'm gonna cry turning in my civic though, she was good to me.

Congrats! So, color? auto or manual? Took me 1 day to do my engine break-in.... 28,800 miles later, I still find excuses to take long back roads to anywhere

Wait, how did you get 3.29% financing? Was that a special for all of Honda Financing? I'm wondering if I need to call up my Salesman to see what the deal is with that because I haven't worked out the financing yet because the car hasn't been delivered.

I need to reply to both of the posts above...

I got Satin Silver with the ebony interior. I got automatic, cuz well, I never learned how to drive a stick *ducks away in shame*

Hehe. I pick it up at 9am tomorrow. Decided to hold onto the civic, however, so I wont be doing a trade in. She's still in good shape, so I'm gonna use her as a secondary vehicle, since I've got a commute of about 400 miles a week minimum.

As for the 3.29%, seemed to be offered on all cars at the acura dealer, it was offered by American Honda Finance...

400 Miles? geez what do you do, if you don't mind me asking.

in any case, congrats on your purchase.

3.29% financing was offered from 2/15/05 to 2/22/05. They are back to their standard financing rates at this point

I'm a software tester. I work in a town about 45 minutes from where I live. I was laid off about a year ago from the job I had in the same field, that was located 2 miles from my home...gotta go where the jobs are.

Damn it! Was this nationwide? I didn't see any advertisements in the newspaper for this special finance rate and my dealer never notified me of it, but I guess I can't really negotiate financing when I haven't taken delivery yet.

I never saw or heard any advertising either, I just knew the presidents day weekend was usually a big sale weekend, car wise, esp with February being a short month, I assume they want to get their car sales in...dumb luck in my case.

Picked up the car today, it's niiiiiiiiiice. So luxurious compared to what I'm used to hehe. Lovin' it so far...I think I put 70 miles on it so far.

That's so unfair, LOL.

I put a deposit on mine January 31st and won't see it until March or maybe even April.

Hopefully the rates will be low when I finalize and take delivery.
