Good price but... wtf!?
Ok, this is a pretty good price. But I'm confused... scroll down to the engine compartment pic and someone tell me wtf is going on!?!

Don't you know? That's the world's smallest "short ram intake" but it got connected to the wrong place.
Well, the intake system is obviously gone. The tube with the tiny filter is normally connected to the intake tube as part of the PCV emission system. That's where fresh air goes in to mix with the blowby gases in the crankcase. Then exits out via the PCV valve to the intake manifold.
People sometime install generic intake systems without provision to reconnect existing hoses. So they stick a filter on the end of the valve cover where the hose normally goes. In this case, on the end of the air tube. I'm surprised the car dealer actually selling the car without the intake system.
