Going tsx shopping tomorrow. Any advise from so cal tsx owners?
Well, I've test driven many many cars and it came down to the TSX. Now, tomorrow is the 30th, so I will most likely be purchasing the TSX tomorrow.
My question is for the s. california tsx owners. Where did you guys get your tsx from and how much? does anybody know an acura dealership that'll give me the tsx under invoice? i've visted the sierra acura in alhambra today for the test drive and i had to deal with a sales person instead of a fleet manager. Which dealers can i go to deal with a fleet manager rather than a sales person? if it makes any difference, i'll be purchasing a 04 white (90% sure) tsx with navigation and with an automatic tranny.

We got ours from Siera Acura, ask for Minh Do and tell him that Rommel and Cherry sent you, we got ours for $28,800 plus fees, auto with navi., silver color. I'm not sure if you can get it any lower from them. I'm not sure if they deal with costco or auto club.

I talked to Mihn Do from sierra also. But unfortunately he couldn't get the color I wanted so I went to Thomas Acura, I filled out the paperwork and am going to pick it up on saturday. Thomas Acura is definatley an upscale dealership and they gave it to us for 27,500 out the door automatic without navi carbon gray.

I also recommend Keyes Acura in Van Nuyes, you can talk directly to the sales manager, his name is Preston and he can get you good deals. If you were to go to Downey I would talk to Cheryl because she has given my friends good prices on their rsx, tsx, and tl's. And for Thomas Acura you should either talk to Maya or Yvonne and tell them Ricky sent you. Thomas Acura would be the place, they have a good inventory and great prices.

I dealt with So Cal dealerships by e-mail and eventually wound up buying from Acura of the Desert in Cathedral City (by Palm Springs). $27,3?? out the door (PWP/5AT/no-navi) Its a bit of a drive but it was a great price at the time. I dealt with Dale Shirmer (internet sales mgr.).

I got my car at weir canyon acura... however they force you to buy these optional accessories, the wheel locks, trunk rubber mat (not a bad idea actually), and the mud slides for 500 bucks. I paid 30k for an 5at/navi/rear spoiler/mp3 player/all condition mats/wheel locks/trunk rubbert mat/mud guard. I think you probably can bitch and waive the 500 if you threaten to walk out.
My advice is DONT get the mp3 player (you can get it later and install it for yourself much cheaper or go ice-link/ipod) and do try to splurge ont he all condition mats and the rubber trunk mat.. the all condition mats aren't a priority but the rubber trunk mat is imo.. i've spilled stuff in there and easily cleaned it up where otherwise i would have had an extremely hard time.
If you do go to weir canyon acura you can get it 1100 above invoice (which is basically a 1000 below msrp). It also really depends on the color of the car you get.. i'm not sure about the white, but for example if you got meteor silver you would get it pretty cheap.
Also keep in mind they will ask you during financing if you want an:
+ extended warranty - negotiable
+ additional alarm (rip off!) - ~450
+ finishing touch package (teflon over the paint?) - 500 bucks
I'm pretty sure you can get a 5at/nav for 27k cuz autoland quotes you for the tsx around the price.. good luck

ATSX: we just traded our TSX about 2 weeks ago for a 2005 C230 Kompressor at Keyes in Van Nuys, it's AT w/ navi and less than 3,000 miles (1 1/2 months old). if you see a silver TSX in their used car lot with a front lip and rear spoiler that is the one, they took it for $22k so if you are interested you know the price.

Escondido is where I got mine. I got a 2004 with navi for 29500 out the door. You will have to hassle with them. That dealership is a low volume store, therfor they will eventually drop their pants.

We got ours from sierra acura for $28,800 + fees SSM, AT w/ navi, wheel locks, trunk tray and mud guards, only 1 in their lot with navi when we bought it. You could probably get a better deal now since the car is been out for a while. At least you know how much some of the members were able to get theirs. If you are going to Sierra Acura ask for Minh Do.

so the 6MT should be less then the 5AT~~~
so most of the people are getting the 5AT
so the price range will be around 27000-28000 or so for with Nav for 5AT

How do you figure? If we went by supply and demand, the 6MT would actually be more then the AT. I was given that same song and dance when I got mine and still ended up only paying 27100 for my 6MT w/navi. I really do think though you could get a better deal MAYBE on an AT. Only because when I went to the dealer last week, he had 5 AT's on the lot and 1 MT.

If a dealer uses the transmition type to explain a price discrepancy, he is BSing you.

Look, it costs the dealer the same regardless of transmission. The dealer will give you a story no matter what to make you think the one YOU want is the one more in demand and therefore you should pay more. As sauceman said. The price is the same.
