Gasoline on paint surface

Is gas bad for the paint surpace ?

Sometimes when pumping gas...got gasoline dripped on car body
Should I wipe it off & wipe the area down with wet towel ?

gasoline can damage the paint. But I wouldnt go nuts over a couple of drops. If there is a significant spill you'll want to clean that up.

Clean it up, but I wouldn't get too crazy over it. Although two volvo's ago I would never clean up the spilled gas and over time the area below the cap started to fade.
