Gas mileage freakin stinks....
My gas mileage is disgusting...I don't get how some people get onwards of 30+ for their mileage. So far, i've been avg 16 mpg for the first 2 gallons on my recent refill.. Last mpg was 26 on avg, but that was with 300+ miles on the highway. I don't live in the vtec range either, im usually light on the gas, and my at shifts around 2500 for me. any idea whats going on? The place I live on is full of hills though and we might still be using winter blend? I've filled only with exxon 91, and don't drive hard at all.

If your car is relatively new, 06's, give it some time to break in. I recently purchased my car, and still around 2000 miles on the odometer, I still get a crappy MPG such as 20-25. As other's say, the MPG will rise as the engine is broken into around the 10k range or something like that.

Check the obvious, tire pressure, empty the trunk of your car... etc.
In addition, you are at Itacha, many up and down hills, which may contributes to the lower MPG.

Tire pressures seemed good, i guess i'll check it tomorrow first thing, I do have stuff in my trunk...but the summed total of it all shouldn't take away more than 1 mpg...just some cleaning supplies and a case of water.

Its too new to tell. With hills you might very well be shifting to early. If your loading the throttle in too high a gear your wasting more fuel. Also, Exxon is not on the 'top tier' gasoline list. I live in Canada, but if I were in the States I would be putting in Chevron or BP (heard good things about both). Also ensure AC is really off - manually turn it off if you need to. After about 7K miles I'm getting about 26-27mpg in full city driving with about 32mpg with 60% city and 40% highway in temperatures not exceeding 10 Celcius on average; not many hills though. It will get better.

If you got 15 MPG for two full tank of gas by driving regularly, you should get worried. But it was only from two gallons of gas. It is like the professor started to freak out after the first two finals he/she graded received D grades out of a class of 60 students.
Don't rely on the instant number calculated by computer so much. It's more accurate if you calculated MPG manually anyway.
