Future TSX Navigation System?

When checking out the new RDX on Acura's web site, I noticed that it uses a navigation system similar to the RL's, which is based on a joy-stick type interface--like BMW's infamous iDrive system. This disappoints me because I find this interface to be inferior to the the ones found in the TSX and TL.

I hope Acura isn't considering moving all of its cars to this type navigation system; any system that requires the driver to click through a series of menus is inefficient, dangerous, and an unwelcome step backwards.

What do you all think?

The one I played with at the showroom seemed just like the RL's... its not really that different from the TSX's and its certainly not like the idrive.

yeah, the real time traffic navi's are a bit different than the other generations of navigation. but the TSX has the latest gen navi that honda makes, even the TL had a 3rd gen nav system. At least we have something better than the TL, a better nav system. I think Acura will keep coming out with the one of the best nav's systems out on the OEM market for many years to come.
