A friend invited me to her house to have dinner with her and French boyfriend. After she opened the door, her bf greeted me and happened to spy my TSX (06, Glacier Blue). We went to see it, and he eyed it a good while, repeatedly saying how nice it looked.

Later, I had to borrow their computer to go online a bit. When I returned, my friend told me her bf said all these great things about the car, one comment in particular: "He can use it to get a girl..." I laughed, since I'm still riding "solo." I guess that was his French way of saying he thought my ride was a chick magnet. Since we know how well-versed the French are in the ways of l'amour, that must say something about our beloved car's sex appeal...

 

I've had great luck with my TSX. Several women have commented on it and really liked it..........

 

Ha, either he meant the car had sex appeal, or, that you need ALL the help you can possibly get.

When I put wheels on my TSeX I had digits before I even left discount tires. Drove home and stopped at the supermarket and sat in the car while my cousin went in to get food. While I was sitting waiting these 2 hotties pulled in the parking lot in a Benz and jocked my ride. When they got out of the car one of the girls kept staring an smiling and just plain stopped in the middle of the road to let me know she was lookin. Right after that, the guy collecting the carts came up to me and said, "Did you see those 2 girls walking in? I'm not sure if it's you or your car, but they were talking about you. Man I can't wait till I can afford car like that."

Thats when I realized this thing is kind of a chic magnet since that doesn't normally happen. And it's a good thing I was in my car at the time becuase my head swelled up so much I might not have been able to get back in it.

 

Yeah well...I get the opposite ...just a lot of more older people look at me wrong when I drive by people. I'm 24 and have a face of a 18 year old. Whatever though.

I don't know about MY TSX being a chick magnet...since I'm already a chick and don't want to attract them....but I do get "the look" quite a bit from people. Just a couple of weeks ago a greasy driver of a tractor-trailer looked down and blew a kiss at me....not exactly the response I prefer, LOL. Now if it had been a smokin' guy, it would have been much better! But my office got a kick out of it when I finally got to work and told them what happened on my way in.

 

I know. I meant, why would he need it, since he already has a chick and wouldn't need to attract one. Maybe this is just too deep a concept...
