Free Loaners
Free Loaners
I think most Acura dealers give free loaners if you have service done. My question is what if you didn't purchase your car at the dealer you are getting service done. Is the free loaner predicated on the fact that you bought your car there too? I know a lot of this depends on the dealer, but what kind of car do you usually get for a loaner?
I purchased my car in OH and have since lived in both FL & CO. I have always been given an Acura loaner at every dealer for regularly scheduled maintenance, so no, I don't believe it should matter whether you purchased the car there or not.
it doesnt but different dealers have different policies regarding receiving a loan car. like south coast acura only gives out loan cars if the service is for engine work that will take more than a day to service...and i bought my car from there
tustin acura was reluctant to give out a loaner when i took my car in for rattle fix. it wasnt till the end of the day they realized they will need my car for more than a day tat they gave me a loan car. the 2nd rattle issue i was given the loan car without reasoning.

At my Acura dealer, if you call up ahead of time and request a loaner, they will let you know a date that it will be available and you make an appt. for then. It doesn't matter if its an oil change or a tranny replacement, you still get a loaner. It's a MSM TSX though, and man I hate that :ghey: color. It's bad enough that its an AT.
But there isn't a car dealer in a country where the service dept. cares if you bought the car there. Now, some dealers have promotions where a new car comes with free state inspections or something for life, but that's different.
