Fog Lights Installed + '06 TSX with OEM body kit (stock height) pictures

hey guys
thanks for the threads about fog lights, i got my Hoen 11 xenonmatch halogen fog bulbs installed.

it was my first mod, but it went very well, easy mod!

Hoen H11 Xenonmatch Halogen bulbs arrived!

unscrewed these two out

push the connector and take it apart. that orange cap is stock fog light. twist and easily pull out

Hoen fog light

overall very satisfied.
i had my friend drive my car behind me to check the lights.
it does not bother the driver in front, yet is very bright (bright bluish white color)

Weather's bad in NJ area, so i am posting some of pics i have for now, if you want, i will take some more pics when rain stops and post them up again.

Where did you get your HID kit for the factory fog lights, and how much did it cost (if you don't mind my asking) I'm very interested in converting my factory fogs to HID, if the price is right. If not, the Hoen Xenonmatch might be an ideal solution.

excelerate sells kits from kaixen and i think they're about 300 shipped with the bulbs and ballasts. all plug-and-play.

i was thinking of doing the HID conversion for my fogs, but it's more cosmetic if anything. they don't serve a function in the fog if they're white and bright, and i'd rather do some more performance-related mods before i do something like this.

the hoens are a good economical solution if you want your fogs to match your stock HIDs.

Oh yeah, totally a cosmetic upgrade. Nothing more. If I wanted function I'd go with amber fogs. I had a set of them on my Neon. Didn't care too much for how they looked, but they really cut through the fog.

I'm afraid 300 is a bit rich for my blood at this point. I'll probably just go with the Hoens and leave it at that.

I've upgraded to HID foglights a week after I bought my TSX. At first I had 6000k looked very nice, but a year later (and currently) I use 3000k, which works great in fog and rain.
