Smile Fog lamps... a second set

Hi All,
First time here. I have an '06 TSX. It has one set of foglamps that are factory fitted. I was wondering if anyone on this forum has installed a second set on the bumper. Specifically at the black plastic areas next to the outer sides of the existing foglamps. If so, would you put pictures and let me know the brand of fog lamps that fit in these spaces?
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks

I completely agree with you. However, I have to travel for work quite often. I want to make sure that I can see better at night. So this is not an aesthetic want. Its more of a safety need.

Then what you want are driving lights, wired with the high beams. Fogs will give you a little side visibility, two pairs won't do any more.

Also, most states prohibit more than 4 forward white lights...thus fog with low beams and driving lights with highs.

That sounds good. What would you recommend that would fit in the place next to the fog lamps in the 06?

If you must, you might want to consider this;

you can put as many as you want on either side or stick to just one on either side as to not violate state laws. correct me if I'm wrong on this.

^^that LED mod won't add much useful visibility at all. It was just for aesthetics or DRL

aCUREa is correct. I did those purely for show. They provide no improvement in visibility whatsoever.

What do i recommend, nothing. I've never noticed any lack of lighting in the dark areas I drive with high beams or low. I almost never use my fogs either...

I had a set of driving lights on a Mini, but it was overkill. the issue is your location. the fogs already get beaten to hell, and any driving lights that low will be destroyed in no time, plus their low mount location will cause issues deoending on load.

those are horrible.

I think 8scotian has a personal preference to modify his car just like anyone else does. That piece of plastic on the bumper does not do anything lol. So why not cram something like a PIAA lamp in there. I have seen a few cars drive by with State Police doing nothing to people who have more than 4 forward facing lights. Its not that you are blinding anyone. You are just lighting up the road better. Just my $ 0.0002.

Not what I would do.

The problem is the way these lights are mounted (so low), you cannot get more illumination without blinding people.
