Flying to Chicago Saturday to pick up my TSX
I pulled the trigger and bought a TSX after lurking on the forums here for a while. I got a 2006 Black on black AT no Nav. I got it for $26,646 OTD. No dealers in St. Louis would even come close nor did they have a black on black in stock so I bought one in Chicago and I'm just gonna fly up Saturday morning and drive it home.

Is your price with TTL? Because $26,646 is about $600 over invoice. If that's your total price with TTL, that's like $1500 under invoice!!! I went to McGrath at Morton Grove and did not have a good experience....

I spent a little more at $26,815 to get my 6MT non-navi (which are harder to find than ATs) a couple months ago, but I only had to go to Springfield, MO to get it. I agree that the St. Louis dealers didn't want to deal much.

you pay sales tax where the car will be registered. so the price of that car , or the out the door price is going to be about 1000-2000 more depending on tax in the home state.

Well, I actaully brought mine (05 auto NAV) last Xmas in Manchester Acura. And yeah, they are not very good people to deal with. But I didn't feel like driving all the way down to springfield or KC to get mine. So.....
Post pics when you get it!!

Yeah, I was saving about $700 by going to Chicago. Flight is only $117. The dealer called me a few hours ago to confirm that one of his guys is picking me up at the airport.
PS. They said they can only give me a 7 day tag instead of a 30 day tag. It's not that big of a deal.

Prices Of The Tsx
Alright Everyone Thinks They Got The Best Deal In Town. Every State And County Have Different Sales Tax Rates And Dmv Fees Rates Too. It Depends Where You Live, Not Where You Buy Your Car From Which Delaership.
For Me, In California. My Residence's County Tax Rate Is 7.75 Percent, And California Dmv Fees Are Calculated Based On Selling Price ( Before Sales Tax And Doc Fees Of 45 Bucks) X 2 Percent X 0.325 + About 63 Bucks For Misc Fees). And Add 8.75 For State Tire Fees, Required.
FOR CALIFORNIA, ALL FEES ARE PAID AT DEALERSHIP BEFORE YOU CAN GET THE CAR OFF THE LOT.
My Price Is About 25613 Plus Tax And Lic On My New 2004 Tsx With Navi Auto Trans. Not Preown, Not Used, Not Unwind. It Is Brand New With 5 Miles On The Odometer. I Bought It Back In Summer 2003. My Buddy Just Gave It Away To Me Becuase I Gave Him Enough Deals All The Time! This Is The True Invoice And At That Time, No Special Incentatives To The Dealers.
Warranty? I Got Acura Care For 795 Bucks For 5 Years 100k Zero Deductible. Rate? 2.9 Apr For Six Years With American Honda Finance Corp, Due To Special Honda Loyalty Customer.

Everything went prefect today, except for the weather, it rained pretty much the whole day. The dealer was right on time at the airport. The car was ready and they had all of my paperwork ready. I would give them a recommendation. The drive home took about 4.5 hours. It was a nice way to get a feel for the car.
