Floor Mat Anchor

Am I missing something, or is it nearly impossible to get the anchors through the 2 holes in the driver side floormat? I tried for at least 10 minutes and gave up in the end.

Slide the seat all the way back and you'll be able to get the floormat on with no problem...

Those clips are plastic, I think the first time I just push them thru by brute force then I got the knack.

You have to bend the floor mat a little bit, try to slide the hole over the anchor at an angle...

[danotto] Are you talking about the stock floormats or the all-season floormats?
I have both the stock and the all-season floor mats installed, they are stacked on top of each. All I have to do is slide the anchor into the hole at an angle...

How long do the fitted floormats last before the fibre is worn out by the heel of your shoes?

When I got the all-season mats, they took some maneuvering to get into the little pegs, but it couldn't have taken me more then a few minutes. Just gotta bend the mat a bit to fit.

I've had the all-season floor mats in my car since I've got it and I have a groove in the rubber right under my clutch, but it's not fully worn out.............yet

Do you gus stack the winter ones on the summer ones?
In the Accord I used the winters alone, so that it wouldn't add thickness.

I take them out to. I use the rubber ones to keep the regular ones away from salt not to put it right under the salt.
