Thumbs up First fill-up

My mileage from my first tank of gas was 24.83, calculated the old-fashion way. I believe the trip computer said 25.6

This mileage was from mixed driving. I normally got 23 on my Vigor. If memory serves me right it was rated at 19/27 for the 5MT.

In my experience with past Acura's (this is my 5th), mileage gets better as time goes by.

how do you figure it out with the trip computer, i know the old, mileage / gallons = mpg, but if the comp can do it for me i would rather save time

The best I can tell the trip computer is about 1/2 mpg too high in its estimates. There was a thread a few days ago where someone suggested that changing the fuel reserve to zero in the navi setup (don't ask me how, do a search ) fixes both the range and mpg error problem. I would caution not to take the car near empty, it could misfire and damage then engine.

I have no experience on the non-navi TSX's trip computer.

It's part of the NAVI system.

BTW, I get 18mpg in the city (heavy foot I guess) and freeway I have been at 30MPG (Visalia to Stanford).
