financing options
Hey guys,
I'm looking to get a tsx within a month or two. I'm thinking lease option since I don't plan on keeping it longer than 3-4 yrs and there's less upfront costs. I know acura has a special right now at $359/mo for 36 mos with $1999 due at lease signing but then I found a cpo 04 model for $23k. I emailed the internet sales guy at the dealer and they told me that it wouldn't be worth leasing a used car because the payments end up being the same or more. He told me the residual value on that 04 for a 3 yr lease would be 20-30%
and that the MF is about 3x the MF for a new car. Is that true? I can understand MF being higher than a new car but a residual value of only 20-30% sounds ridiculous to me. I thought cars lose most of their values the first couple of years?
