Finally did it! Got my PWP TSX.

Just picked up my new PWP TSX today from Acura of Manhattan! It came with Auto and Navi... and I completely love it so far. I'll miss my Jeep :'( , but the TSX is well worth the change.

My fiancee and I just gotta get used to driving around in a completely different type of car. (She missed the jeep, too.)

The Navi is amazing by the way. It's awesome how quickly it can figure out you went the wrong way and recalculatates new directions. Sweet.

Anyway, here's a pic:

Thanks again!

TSX7: Front splash guards? I didn't think those came standard. So, no, I didn't take anything off yet. I'm, not sure if I'll get them yet but I guess they could be really helpful when it starts to snow in winter (keeps road salt off the doors).

Robert: I'll be keeping around the NJ/NYC area. Not going to drive much in NYC though. Mostly commuting to work in the Jersey suburbs. I paid $27599 (which included destination). So I'm not far off from your price. I didn't get floor mats, though! SO I guess you got me beat there! (EDIT: You mean you got the all-season floor mats, right?)

It just sucks that NJ insurance is like 2X the amount I would've paid when I was back in upstate NY. Damn NJ insurance! :sqntfawk:

It was a tough choice between CG and PWP. I love the look of CG with ebony but my Jeep was also a dark silver/grey, so I wanted something different. White will also keep me cooler in the summer and I like how PWP seems a little bit more rare than CG.

McGriddle:

Can you take a look at the sticker in the door jamb & tell when yours was manufactured ?
Mine was 02/2004, took delivery 06/04...so it's been sitting for a while.

Yes, I got the all-weather mats...only because sales guy wants $150 more...so I say OK but throw in the mats. IMO They are not better than non-oem....all black so you can hardly see the word TSX...too damn flat too...so when snow storm hits I will put in the $10 one with deep indent.

>> It just sucks that NJ insurance is like 2X the amount

Yeah, I am in CT and I am paying like $360-ish for 6 months

Only 2x??

I suggest you promptly find a spouse. Our collective insurance just went down ~$1600 now that we're married and on the same policy (was $2900 TSX, $2200 Passat!).

White will also keep me cooler in the summer and I like how PWP seems a little bit more rare than CG.
fwiw, I have a NBP/parch combo and the parchment interior definitely stays cool You might feel cold in a white/parch combo!

Robert: My build date is 04/04. So it's been at most in transit/on the lot for around 2 months since I just picked it up at the end of June. Not too bad, I guess.

JCG: Yeah, I know what you mean. Like I said, I'm engaged. So we're getting there!

Congratulations! See if you can find a suitably corrupt insurance agent who is willing to put you down as married already

Mine came with my car (just the front two). Maybe it's only standard on Canadian models.
