I think he reached 160km/hr at one point. That's pretty fast considering the narrow road, wet conditions, other cars, and night time.

Is it just me, or does it sound like there is a voice that is maybe advising a shift when getting ready to redline? Sounds like it could be a PITA if you spend a lot of time reving the engine.

Some japenese models in Australia are still fitted with the 180km/hr speed limiter and others are not. Luckily as the Euro isnt but I am not admitting to having tested this on a public road....

Let me help you!
Pretty dangerous...at least he saw the pedestrian jogging (around 6 min 28 sec).
I think around 2 min 30 sec, it looks like he pushed his revs off the scale.
The car sounds and performs well...
...the driver is so-so
(his first movie sucked though...all you get to watch is his dashboard

Without being able to see the road, can't say if he's shifting correctly - but he's trying his darnest to stay in the VTEC powerband (above 6k rpm).
Stock Euro Rs don't a rev warning beeper - the rev limiter will just kick in.
The female voice - probably from some rpm sensing gadget - seems to be saying "iVTEC" so i'm guessing it's triggered whenever he shifts within VTEC powerband or drops in or out of VTEC??

Also dun you found that beep when you watch initial D too?
Never notice a beeper at rev limit on my CL7 - but that could be because I'm not in the habit bouncing off it - usually shift just past 8k - installed a shift lamp and buzzer controlled by Apexi RSM that goes at 8200.

I am guessing this is a warning for an intersection ahead, must be an option on the navigation system.
