no, front and rear of 04-05 and 06+ are different

yes.

if you remove the bumpers, in theory you can swap them.

the exhaust in the rear bumper has slightly different positioned
outlets, so you need to watch for that.

plus on the front bumper, there is the grille issue.
the grilles are different as well, not just the bumpers.
the hoods are different too.
04-05 has trim in the hood for the grille.
the 06-08 has no trim in the hood.

but many people have swapped bumpers and such.
usually a radiator cover is swapped along with the grille and hood though.
that's also different between the two.

it is possible.

never seen a front 04-05 bumper on an 06-08 before.
seen a rear bumper.
and seen the 04-05 put a 06-08 bumper conversion on.
just not backwards on the front yet, you would probably be the first.

so there could be a slight issue here or there, like with HID ballast
placement or something, or fog light issues or something.
04-05 don't come with fog lights, the 06-08 bumper has fog lights.

dang well i guess i am not getting that lip kit. lol more work than i want to put into it. lol thanks for the help

i want to do the same because i know if you buy an 06-08 tsx your chances of having problems are little compare to the first models 04 TSX's, right now i'm into buying a tsx but dont like the 06-08 front look so i wonder if i can buy one and swap the 04-05 front bumper withought a big hassle! thanks for the help
