Engine mount control solenoid?

Saw this in the electrical manual the other day, what is this for? Looks like it's only on the one of the engine mounts. Does it actually try to level the engine under hard acceleration, and reduce vibration at idle??

I guess only for reducing vibration? Otherwise there will be no need for a ETD then..

The front engine mount is vacuum controlled to reduce engine vibration at idle. The control solenoid switches manifold vacuum on/off to the mount on demand of the PCM.

Ahh I see, thanks for the explaination.

While it maybe be there to help, seems like there's still a good amount of vibration transmitted to the cabin at idle..
