Eibach Springs
Eibach Springs
i know that copmtech parts installed by the dealer don't affect your warrenty. i was wondering if anyone knows about what warrenty isssues can arise from puttin the eibach springs on???
Well, the Magnasson Act (or whetever it's called) basically says that unless the aftermarket part directly caused the problem, it is still warrantied.
So, since you put different springs on, I'd say that the shocks were prime candidates for being refused warranty work. Any suspension arms, strut tower brace, roll bars would be a fight with the dealer, but should still be warrantied (or affected).
But, I can guarantee you, those shock warranties are GONE the minute you put on those springs. Still, when's the last time you had a Honda suspension part fail? I think I had to replace the shocks in my '90 Accord at 75,000 miles.

I got Eibach prokits installed on my 2000 Accord at 6k. I've had the car since new. I ran the Prokits with OE shocks until well past 37k + mi when I installed Koni's. (prokits are still on)
The Eibachs work great with OE shocks.
Keep in mind the Gen 6 Accord and TSX (gen 7 Accord) have very simaliar suspensions. Point being, I would expect Eibach to perform equally as well on a TSX.
However, when I got my new Eibachs, Camber kits were not out yet. I did have to rotate my tires alot more as the inside rear was wearing faster. If there isn't a camber kit out yet for the TSX you will need to do this too. Don't be fooled you WILL need a camber kit in order to maintian OE camber specs.
