Does the Canadian TSX uses the high beams for the DRL's? Can the US version be modified to use DRL's

 

Yes, we use "Low-intensity" high beams as our Day-time Running Lights.

Don't know if the US version have the DRL module installed. I suspect that you can get the module and install yourself? Not sure though.

 

There have been threads from people moving to Canada and asking about getting DRLs installed. Try a search. IIRC, it's not the cheapest thing to do, but legally required. But then the certification afterwards is cheap and easy (Canadian Tire).
