I am absolutely heart broken. Two months new on the road, my 05 PWP finally got its 1st dent and the car wasn't even moving at the time. When my car is parked inside the garage, the stupid garage door opener light cover fell off and dented the chrome strip along the driver's door edge. I have no one to blame but myself.

I can probably live with a small dent if it is somewhere out of sight but this stupid frigging dent is right at eye level. Everytime I get into my car, it stares at me. It gives the phase "eye soar" a new meaning. Anyone know how to replace this trim and how much will it cost me?

did you get a card that said if you get a dent the first 90 days of ownership, stealership will fix for free? try that with the dealer...maybe they will do it free

 

You've got to be kidding, right? I have never heard of such a thing. Maybe only NYC stealerships offer that card. I am in Toronto.
