Does anybody know what that slight thunk noise is when your car comes to a full stop?

Anytime i brake wether it be hard or soft, unless i brake really slow and soft, there will be an immediate very slight thump after the car comes to a FULL halt, i was thinking that it might be the spare tire or the tools that are inside the trunk slightly hitting something, am i the only one hearing this?

Mine used to be my "equipment box" coming un-bugeed.

Now in my Jeep it's the phone book (cheap NAVI) flying off the back of the "equipment" box and smacking in the sides.

Un-Kut, I recommend you sell your car and take the bus. 12 of the 18 threads you've started have been complaints. If the bus doesn't live up to your expectations you'll only be out of a couple bucks.

I have something like that. But it's not when the car stops. It's at aggressive bumps (potholes) at fast speeds (60+). It's coming from the rear right side of the car, and drives me nuts sometimes. Of course, it's impossible to replicate at the dealer, so I'm screwed.

hey slo007, I noticed you lived in Encinitas - I'm in Oceanside and drive through Encinitas every day. I see a carbon gray TSX every once in a while on my commute down 5 in the morning, is that you?

I've got a Meteor Silver TSX, probably the only one in SD! Certainly the only one I've ever seen. If I see a black TSX I'll hit my horn... if it's you, hit your horn twice back, and then I'll know

The difference is with 10000 posts, you occaisonally have something to say other than complaints. However, you're on a slipery slope so I'm allowing you one more complaint before I confiscate your car, so use it wisely.
