Do i still need a chip?
I am going to get a spare key/remote made and was thinking do I still need the chip inside the key if I have a chip built into the car(auto starter)? Can I just get a key cut or how does that work?

i am going to say no, because the chip located under the dash takes care of the immobilizer
you could get a TL switchblade cut and not have to worry about paying the dealer to program the immobilizer chip
