Exclamation Disturbing

So I thought I'd check out the user reviews of the '06 TSX on Yahoo.com since I just gone mine, and I noticed this ONE.
Feel free to post your thoughts on this.....

who posts that on a review site. its so extreme no one would believe it anyway. never heard of a (major) problem w/ the brakes, plus I'd be surprised if anyone has had a 2006 for a month, so it makes me skeptical

I dont think that is a true story..Warranty would definitely cover the brake if the car is only a month old

I'm going to call on the guy's review. If that happened to me, the last thing I'd do is write an internet review about it. Especially before settling the lawsuit for a gazillion dollars.

This is little more than a poor attempt by some disgruntled person to smear the Acura brand. This has been posted more than once here on Acurazine and we have not ever been able to verify it. It is unsubstantiated so I have written to Yahoo!Auto's customer care group to have it removed.

Wow! Never heard about bad breaks. If anything its the fault of that specific dealer. Haven't heard of any brake issues.

Forget it. No one brings a month-old car back, points out a major brake malfunction, get's told to stick it, and drives off a bridge (or whatever) on the way home. It's

That is defamation of libel on a company and can be held up in court, since that review is anonymous, Yahoo can be held responsible for posting the review. I reported the abuse to them asking to take the review off otherwise files will be charged.

Sorry, but some of my family works for Honda and Acura, and I am fiercely loyal to the brand. I hope to work for them one day, and yes I have a minor in Business Law so I do know what i'm talking about.

Don't you mean defamation of CHARACTER through libel?

And a minor is Business law is not an authoratative level

Didn't he just post here recently. I don't think he'd do something like that. I don't think sick would do it either.

It's just some Acura hater. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same post other places.

make sure you use a voltmeter when measuring the amount.

Seriously though. There is too much liability with regards to a vehicles braking system. For Acura to write off a customers complaints regarding the braking system would be perposterous.

When the Titans first released we had a boat load of complaints with brakes, vibrations being the most. We had to honor every single one of them under warranty. No matter what. There was a recall that followed once the complaints became so frequent.

I have and I think I'm goin to call

not libel,

there's actually been supreme court cases saying that there is no way a company can be held accountable for what is posted on it's site in the case of libel. i think it was a california case and it was recent.

Ah, the file charger.

I learned quickly in law school that you must be very cautious when charging files. The horror stories I heard about young lawyers who have been burned, or even electrocuted.

But I digress...no reasonable person would take that review seriously. Theres no exposure to a meritorious lawsuit here, just some sicko begging for the very attention we're giving him right now.

In any event, I'd expect that it will be removed.

Question

So, why would this guy let his wife take his baby go to get these supposed bad brakes repaired to begin with? Clear case of BS.

File charging, isn't that what Enron did?

And this story sounds like a case for snopes, but its folk lore that has been flying around for a minimum of 6 months.
