Difference between the '06/'07 to the '08?

Hi everyone!

As an admirer and former owner of a 2nd gen Acura Legend, the TSX is the only other Acura Ive come to admire.

Im in the market to purchase a 1st gen TSX and after looking around here in the forums, it looks like the '08 are a great buy. However, as alot of you have mentioned, theyre flying off the shelves quickly.

Ive been looking around the internet and have noticed that some dealers still have brand new '07 and my question is, Is there a difference between the 07 and 08s?

Ive been looking at the 06 and up mainly because these models have the integrated foglights well as the blue rimmed guages in the dash. I believe these are the models with the lit up steering wheel controls too.

If im unable to get my hands on an 08 or even if i was able to find one, would it be just as good as if i were to find and purchase a brand new or used '07?

any advice is greatly appreciated and i hope to be a part of this community soon as well!

Thank you all

07/08's are exactly the same.

the only major difference between those years and the 06 is the tire pressure monitoring system, which the 06 doesn't have.

may want to keep in mind that the hondata ecu reflash is availble for 06's, and not 07/08's if you're planning to mod your car.

i once owned a 91 legend coupe =) anyways, to answer your question, the only difference i can think of between the 06 and 07 is the tpms sensor. the 07 and 08 are practically the same. nothing changed.

I have a similar question. Why is it when I search for parts (wings, some engine parts, etc) that some vendors (especially on fleabay) specify model year 04 - 07? I know there's very little, if any, difference between the 07 and 08 TSX. Has anybody else noticed that as well, or is it just me?

I own an 08.

yes, most every single vendor only lists up to 07 for some reason.
lazy I guess.

the 08 is obviously a newer car, which makes it better.
other than being newer, it's practially the same otherwise.

the tech said they were supposed to fix tiny things like a piece of
metal in the driver's seat that needed to be grinded and such,
but as for design or parts, they're the same.

it's basically 04-05 and 06-08 and 09-?.
