Dent from Dealer?

So i went in today to do my first check up (oil change etc..) wait like an hour and get my car back, cars nice and washed and i head back to work. Once i get back to work, i notice a dent on my hood, the sweet thing is the nice metal which is visible now because of is. Is it a horizontal mini gash, followed by some sort of streak which was wipeoffable with my finger.

Now, obviously I can't be 100% sure but I am fairly sure it was not there before going to the dealer. Now, i really don't think it was caused by a rock or something because of the way it is, and that rubbery trail leaves me to believe it was caused during cleaning somehow.

Now, i have called the service dept and informed them of this, but was told that the servive manager was not in and to come or call back tommarow so I can discuss it with him, I was also told that we could check the cameras and what not to verify.

Do you think i have a chance? Am i going to look like an idiot if its not on tape? Am I worrying about something too trivial? The dent/chip is noticeable and is an eye sore on a 4month old car (yes i know it's bound to happen sometime, but not by the very people who are supposed to take care of it).

What do you guys think?

Thanks

I cringe whenever a dearlership lot attendant goes anywhere near my car. They dont treat your car very nice when you're not looking (suprisingly sometimes even right in front of you!) dropping it off is usually begging for those careless retards to fuck your car up just like this.
