Question Which dealer would you go to for 1st oil change?

My first oil change is coming up and I think most dealers in my area are incompetent...so If you were me which one would you go to?

A) Downey, CA - I went there 4 times for warranty repair and they didn't help me until I contacted corporate and talked to the Service Manager. Will they give me bad service if they remember me and sabotage a simple oil change? They do have one of the better reputations though.

OR

B) Alhambra, CA - I've never been, they can be idiots as well and the person scheduling the appointment was very rude. Doesn't that leave you with a bad impression?

So I need your opinions as I am a noob and have lost trust in many of the stealerships. Thanks!

Sounds like A is out since you already had a bad experience with them. You haven't tried B yet, so why not give them a chance? Oil changes are very basic maintenance, so it should go well.

Or C, do it yourself. Good luck.......

If you're considering Downey Acura then Acura of Cerritos isn't that much farther. I've never had a problem with them doing normal service and I've been taking my Acuras there for 16 years.

Thanks guys, I ended up in Alhambra and was actually surprised at how well the service was because I read some negative reviews on them. Cerritos was actually my selling dealer and they kept telling me my car was fine when it was problematic. They've told me that they had no record of appointments I made and refuse to provide me with a rental when I needed one because supposedly I didn't make an appointment for service. That's how I ended up at Downey for warranty repair.

It's been a rough start for my TSX, but now I finally get to enjoy it.

Glad it worked out.

FYI, Cerritos doesn't give out loaners for regular service, only for warranty service, only if your car will be held overnight, and only with a prior appointment (for a loaner and for service). At least that's what they told me.
